Intermediate Pilates - Ringwood

Service Description

Five weeks of classes designed to take your body through functional exercises, which will help your body return to, or maintain optimal mobility and stability. You will gain balance (both the wobbly type of balance and the balance of your muscles on either side of the body), core strength (muscles nearest the spine and those that stabilise the spine - think deepest tummy muscles, pelvic floor and muscles in your back) and an awareness of what range of movement is expected from all your joints and exercises to improve or maintain this. The more superficial muscles, such as abdominals and gluteals also get a good workout; Pilates is well known for it's ability to produce long. lean and tones muscles.
